KSU Students React to recent Plane Crashes

Recent plane crashes have been a rising concern for KSU students.


2025 has kicked off with an uptick in plane crashes.


According to USA Today, there have been a total of 94 plane crashes in 2025, and the country is on track to have a total of 512 plane crashes once the year is over.


For reference, in 2024 the U.S. had a total of 258 plane crashes.

Soccer’s Chris Cahill Welcomed as Newest Head Coach in Owls’ Athletics

Kennesaw State athletic director Milton Overton announced on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, that former associate coach Chris Cahill had been appointed as the Owls’ head coach for women’s soccer.


Cahill will continue to carry the legacy established by former head coach Benji Walton in KSU women’s soccer.

The future of the Owls: Pettway’s Vision

New Kennesaw State men’s basketball head coach Antoine Pettway made his first appearance at a press conference since his hiring on April 7.
